We are proud to have Mary McCort as our groomer. She has over 15 years experience and specializes in pets who have issues when being groomed. Premier K-9 offers a full service grooming salon available to you and your pet. Our competitive prices are based on the breed of your dog and the services that you request. We offer everything from a nail trimming to a full haircut. You can have your pet given a bath before you pick them up so they go home perfectly clean and smelling wonderfully fresh or you can schedule an outside appointment at your convenience. BOARDING
As a pet owner it is important to you that your best friend is well taken care of while you are away. That's why we at Premier K-9 strive to make your dogs stay as fun and comfortable as possible. Our spacious kennels have both indoor and outdoor access, 24/7, as well as heating and air conditioning for the convenience of your dog. For extra safety our kennel is also surrounded by an additional security fence. Cleanliness is as important to us as it is to you so we clean all of our kennels twice daily with a veterinarian recommended disinfectant and deodorizer. If you would like your pet to have special one on one attention, or group play experience we have activities available, at a small additional cost, such as nature walks, doggie day care, and playground activities. Our daily boarding rate is $15. We are currently offering a cash discount rate of $12 per day. Check in/out is similar to a hotel, you are always charged for the day your dog checks in and if you check out before 11:00am you are not charged for check out day.
*We do require that all dogs be up to date on rabies and distemper vaccinations.
DOGGY DAY CARE
Do you work long hours? Do you have a day that is full of errands and chores that need to be accomplished? We've all been there and those days are stressful enough without having to worry about your dog. So instead of leaving him alone or ignored all day bring him out to our fun and energetic doggie day care! During doggie day care your favorite canine will have the opportunity to meet new doggie friends and build his socialization skills as well as enjoy one on one attention from his human friends! During day care we also offer a complimentary obedience lesson. For just $20 per day let us take your worry away and exercise both your dogs mind and body!
TRAINING
Group Obedience Classes:
Our group classes are a great way to both teach your dog both obedience and socialization. The unique atmosphere allows your dog to learn to behave even in distracting situations. Classes are available for all dogs and all levels, from puppy to advanced, and are $120 for 6 sessions. Classes are offered based on rolling enrollment so you can start anytime that is convenient for you. We specialize in under socialized dogs and dogs with aggressive behaviors. We specifically work on learning "dog psychology" during every session. We have 2-3 instructors and keep class sizes under 10 for more personalized support in training. Call to reserve your spot now!
House breaking:
Potty training your dog around a busy and changing schedule can be very difficult so we offer a program that allows us to house train your dog to go to the bathroom outside and start to go potty on command. This is a 2 week program that happens at our kennel. The cost for this targeted education is $325 which includes 2 private training sessions with both you and your dog.
In-Home Training:
If you have trouble getting around or have a problem with your dog that only or most often occurs at home then this is the class for you. Let our experienced trainer come to your home and help you with your dog's obedience and/or behavior problems. The price for this program is $75 per session.
Private Lesson:
This class allows us to focus solely on you and your dog! We can work on any issue that you are having from "sit" to aggression problems. Class times are scheduled on an individual basis and occur at our kennel. These lessons are $50 each.
Therapy Dog Class:
If your dog is sweet as can be and loves to please then you should consider making them a certified therapy dog! This class is 6 sessions long and teaches you and your dog everything that you need to know to pass the Therapy Dog Certification. This certification will allow you to take your dog into hospitals, schools and nursing homes. Class is $120.
Personal Protection Sport Training:
This is a fun sport for you and your dog to participate in especially if you have a dog with high defense or prey drive. The training for this program is in conjunction with our Protection Sport Association (PSA) training club and meets on weekends only. This class is 6 sessions long for $275.
Agility:
If you have completed obedience classes and are looking for the next step then this is it! Agility is a fast paced sport that requires teamwork between you and your dog. Training for agility will release your dogs pent up energy as well as help advanced their obedience skills and build an even better bond with you. Classes run for 6 sessions and are $125.
In-Board Training:
This is our MOST EFFECTIVE training program. If you are having problems with your dog (ie aggression or under socialization) and/or just don't have the time to work with your dog everyday then this may be the option for you. Training requires consistency so your dog will stay with us for 3 weeks. During the 3 weeks they are here you may visit anytime and you can take them home on the weekends if you would like. During your dogs stay they will learn how to walk on a loose leash (no more pulling!) as well as sit, down, stay, come and any other commands you would like them to learn. We will also address any behavioral concerns such as barking, digging, jumping, aggression, submissive urination, etc. At the end of the program you we will schedule 2-3 follow up sessions which will focus on training you to be your dog's trainer. We will also include lectures, handouts, a 10 foot long line and training collar. Our training is guaranteed for the life of your dog so long as you complete your follow up sessions in a timely manner and follow our program. The trainer for this program holds a masters degree in behavior modification. This incredible training opportunity is $650 all inclusive. After completing the program, your dog has free obedience classes for life!
